Julien's upcoming book "How Culture shapes Behaviours" (november 2026) is based on the cultural knowledge Julien presents in his lectures and courses about culture and cultural differences. 

 

Julien is also the author and co-author of a number of books about the Swedish and the Scandinavian cultures. He works together with his partner Elise H. Kollerud who illustrates and co-authors all of Julien's books. Their new book in Sweden "The Swedish Culture" will be released in October 2026 and will replace the previous two editions of "The Swedes"(2018) and "The Social Guidebook to Sweden"(2016) ​
