Julien's upcoming book, How Culture shapes Behaviours (November 2026), is based on the cultural knowledge he presents in his lectures and courses. Following the same illustrated approach as his books on Scandinavian cultures, it explores cultural differences from a global perspective.

Julien is the author and co-author of several books about the Scandinavian cultures. He works closely with his Norwegian partner, Elise H. Kollerud, who illustrates and co-authors all the books.
