"Lagom" - A Typically Swedish Thing

Everything is “just right” in Sweden

It is “lagom”

How would you like your steak cooked? Lagom

How is the weather? Lagom

How much did you sleep last night? Lagom

How fast did you drive? Lagom

How old are you? Lagom

Lagom is something very Swedish

It is difficult to grasp for foreigners

Not too much

Not too little

Just enough

It applies to situations as much as people

You should not be too good in Sweden

You should be just good enough

That brings us to something else which is very Scandinavian
